About VITEEE
What is VITEEE?
VIT Engineering Entrance Examination, or VITEEE, is VIT's admission test for the Indian B.Tech admission route across the campuses and programmes covered by the current admission rules.
The 2026 application and examination are complete. VIT's published schedule placed the examination from 28 April to 3 May and the result and counselling from the second week of May on a tentative basis; each candidate must now follow the live portal for rank, counselling and allotment status.
VIT introduced a 500-mark, negative-marking pattern for 2026. Candidates should not prepare from older pattern summaries without checking the current official source.

VITEEE Application Process and Fees
Official application route and fee details
The 2026 application is closed. Future applicants should register only through the official VITEEE portal, complete personal and qualifying-examination data, upload the required image and pay the fee.
Choose MPCEA or BPCEA according to the Class XII subjects and intended programme. A Biology paper combination does not make the candidate eligible for every B.Tech programme.
Retain the application number and check the portal directly for slot booking, admit card, rank and counselling.

VITEEE Eligibility Criteria
Qualification, age and other requirements
Date of birth
On or after 1 July 2004
- The 2026 rules require the recorded date of birth to be on or after 1 July 2004.
- The date in the qualifying certificate controls verification.
Qualifying aggregate
60% PCM or PCB
- The aggregate condition applies to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology, as applicable.
- At least 50% must be secured in Mathematics or Biology individually under the published rule.
Education route
Regular full-time formal education
- Indian applicants are expected to have studied through the regular full-time formal education route covered by VIT's rules.
- Candidates should use the current eligibility page for NIOS and other board-specific conditions.
Subject route
MPCEA or BPCEA
- MPCEA supports the Mathematics-based B.Tech route.
- BPCEA candidates are limited to the Biology-compatible programmes stated by VIT.
