About BITSAT
What is BITSAT?
BITS Admission Test, or BITSAT, is the computer-based admission test used by BITS Pilani for its integrated first-degree programmes at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad and for the programmes listed for the Dubai campus. Programme availability and eligibility differ, so a test score alone does not establish admission eligibility.
The 2026 test sessions and preference-form window are over. BITS is now publishing admission iterations and reporting instructions. Candidates must rely on their live admission account and the official BITS notices because offer acceptance and reporting deadlines can be candidate-specific.

Official application route and fee details
The 2026 BITSAT form and preference windows are closed. A future applicant should register only through the live BITS admission portal, select the intended session or both sessions, complete academic details and pay the applicable fee.
BITSAT registration and the later programme-preference form are distinct steps. Eligible candidates seeking admission must complete the preference process by its separate deadline.
Keep the application number, score report and offer documents. Do not pay an agent or treat a NeelGyan page as an admission form.

Passed 2025 or appearing/passed 2026
- The 2026 brochure admitted candidates who passed Class XII in 2025 or were appearing in or had passed in 2026.
- Students already studying at a BITS campus were not eligible to appear again for admission under this route.
PCM or PCB aggregate

- Candidates needed at least 75% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology, as applicable.
- At least 60% was required separately in each of the three relevant subjects.
Programme subjects
PCM or restricted PCB route
- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are required for the standard engineering and science route.
- PCB candidates may apply only to the programmes explicitly allowed in the current brochure, including B.Pharm and the notified environmental programme route.

- A candidate who answers all 130 questions may choose 12 extra questions; after opting in, the original 130 questions cannot be revisited.
